Additionally, if you enter any of our contests, participate in message boards, user polls, chat, ecommerce, or other areas of the Site, you may provide additional information about yourself. Finally, as part of our efforts to improve the user experience, we track each user's use of the site and connected sites on an anonymous basis.
Disclosure and Use of Aggregated Information
We may collect, analyze, and disclose to others aggregated information (which includes your specific information but only as an unidentifiable part of the aggregate) gathered from overall use of the Site or particular features or areas of the Site.

When you sign up with our Site and/or Service, you may receive automatically-generated email instructions or notifications produced by your use of the Site. These emails are meant to ensure you obtain key job or candidate information in a timely manner.
As a valued candidate or business client, you may also receive additional phone calls or emails from us in order to assist you in finding the right position or finding the right candidate.
From time to time, we may contact you about changes to the Site or about Talascend products or services that may be of interest to you. We may also permit our partners to contact you directly about their own products or services. You may stop the delivery of these promotional emails by following the instructions contained in the particular email solicitation you wish to block.
Disclosure of Job Requisitions
If you are an employer, Talascend allows you to create a job requisition and post it to candidates within our database. This makes your requisition viewable to Talascend-registered candidates who search the site for applicable vacancies. Additionally, if you would also like to see agency candidates, you can post your requisition to Talascend staffing agency partners that you have indicated as preferred. This enables these companies to submit candidates to your requisition. Finally, you may also post your requisition to the Talascend public Web site and to all Talascend staffing partners.
Disclosure of Resumes/CVs
Additionally, employers and recruiters who search our profiles database will be able to see and download your resume/CV and job preferences. They will not be able to see your contact information unless they so request and you expressly consent. (Talascend, of course, will be able to see all the information you provide in connection with the Site and Services.) Talascend cannot be responsible for any user's or other third party's use, reproduction, or disclosure of your resume/CV or any information contained therein.
You may also search our database of job opportunities without creating a profile. However, should you desire to apply for a position, you will be required to register with us and create your Profile and provide contact information at that time.
We strive to limit access to our database to registered users. These are candidates who elect to create an online account or employers or recruitment agencies who have agreed to partner with Talascend. However, no verification or security system is foolproof. Therefore, we are not responsible if someone impersonating a candidate, employer or recruiter manages to circumvent our security measures and gain access to the database, including your information, nor can we be responsible for any use, reproduction, or disclosure they may make of it.
Disclosure upon Sale or Merger
If Talascend, or one of its lines of business, is sold or otherwise acquired by a third party, your information may be (i) disclosed, under duty of confidentiality, to a potential purchasers or merger partner as part of the pre-closing due diligence process, or (ii) included among the transferred assets.
We provide you with the opportunity to give us feedback on the Site and Services. Any feedback you submit will become the property of Talascend. We may use this feedback for marketing or other purposes (such as publication of success stories, or implementation of user suggestions), or we may contact you for further feedback on the Site and Services.
