Talascend is currently seeking a Emissions Analysis Engineer with a leading automotive manufacturer located in Chelsea, Michigan.

OVERVIEW:
The Emissions Analysis Engineer will be responsible for supporting RGE function within the propulsion calibration organization. The Emission Analysis Engineer will work closely with the Reliability, Growth and Emissions team reviewing emissions results and reporting out status to respective calibration teams ensure the fleet is on track to meet deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in automotive industry
  • Strong familiarities related to engine system development including related technologies and subsystems such as combustion, valvetrain, fuel system, boost systems, EGR systems, aftertreatment systems, controls and its algorithm including diagnostics
  • Strong background in vehicle development attributes including drivability, emissions and diagnostics.
  • Exposure to data analysis relating to drivability, emissions, and fuel economy
  • Data acquisition experience collecting and processing data providing meaningful summaries and next steps
  • Good teamwork skills and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills and able to create and present information in a clear and concise manner to colleagues and management
  • Location: CPG – 100% onsite (periodic travel to CTC)
  • Travel: Minor travel is expected throughout a calendar year in the 2–4-week range
