Talascend is currently seeking a Material Review Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Clearwater, Florida.

Overview

The role involves reviewing blueprints and product specifications to ensure the correct material is in the build per configuration and SAP validation.

Responsibilities

  • Review blueprints and product specifications to ensure the correct material is in the build per configuration and SAP validation.
  • Adjust amounts for existing inventory and for orders where inventory has been consumed.
  • Document and work closely with members of the material, scheduling and engineering team.
  • Engage in material purges and handling as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school degree and 1-3 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand MES system, Teamcenter and SAP.
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
