VP of Sales - Houston TX
A Talascend client in Houston, Texas is seeking a Vice President of Sales.
The company is seeking a high performing individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be joining a small but fast-growing team that is ethical, respectful of each other and determined to help the company strengthen its position as a global leader.
The organization is focused on building strong, ethical relationship with clients, that highlight the values that underpin the business. You will need to take ownership over the growth and development of your territory and still be a team player with the marketing and proposal teams. The territory is the US, however the major focus is Texas and Louisiana. The position requires 5 - 10 years of experience and understands of selling services to the Oil and Gas industry. Oil and Gas industry inspection or software service background would work well.
You should be comfortable and confident in building relationship at all levels, particularly the C-suite.
Ideal skills and competencies:
- Self-motivated, goal oriented and understands the importance of attitude.
- Confident and thrives in a social environment.
- A track record of building business in a consultative sales environment.
- Knowledge of the O&G industry, ideally service and/or software sale.
- B.S. degree and strong IT skills.
Houston-based is preferable but open minded for an exceptionable candidate.
