Talascend is currently seeking a Quality Technician for a contract assignment in Savannah, Georgia for a multinational aerospace and defense company.
OVERVIEW:
As the Quality Technician, your role will be focused on primarily supporting the Business Aviation Integrated Power Plant System podding operation. You will compile non-conformance data, coordinate rework activities, and communicate with internal and external customers. You will also maintain record keeping and other administrative duties as required.

You will compile non-conformance data, coordinate rework activities, and communicate with internal and external customers. You will also maintain record keeping and other administrative duties as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Capture non-conformance data from shop floor
- Create PowerPoints to document observations
- Data entry into company and customer systems
- Coordinate with internal team, customer, and supplier to perform reworks as required
- Ensure completion of tasks and documentation prior to delivery deadline
- Maintain quality records
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma; college degree preferred
- Aviation Manufacturing preferred
- Quality Control Experience
- SAP Experience
- Operate independently to drive task completion in timely manner
- Strong communication skills to customers and suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Able to pass a preemployment drug and background test
- Must be a US Citizen
