Talascend is currently seeking a Designer UI/UX for a contract opportunity in Houston, TX.
SUMMARY:
Company seeks a Content Designer to join the Studio team in the Brand amp Marketing department. Content Designers work closely with subject matter experts UX/UI Designers Front-End Developers and Digital Marketing specialists to create experiences that delight Company customers and prospects while elevating the company brand identity as a sustainability leader.
With the role focused on production and management of website content company website the successful candidate will be proficient in authoring content using Adobe Experience Manager AEM.
Preferred candidates will understand technical concepts related to AEM and will be comfortable working with AEM developers to help improve our AEM foundations.
Experience working within project management frameworks e.g. Agile/Scrum Atlassian tools is also preferred.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of related experience Intermediate to advanced proficiency managing content in Adobe Experience Manager User-first mindset and knowledge of best practices in digital content.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and adapt to different modes of project management.
- Equally comfortable working in creative collaborative settings and going to complete content production work when required.
- Ability to balance attention to detail with pursuit of big-picture objectives.
- Experience working with various content reviewers and incorporating feedback.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient in optimizing images videos and other assets for the web.
- Knowledge of AEM tools and concepts including Content Fragments Experience Fragments Assets DAM Tags Workflows etc.
- Experience with third-party platforms connected to AEM e.g. Algolia for site search BrightEdge for content optimization.
- Experience working within and across different workstreams and project management frameworks e.g. Agile/Scrum.
MORE ABOUT THE ROLE:
- As part of a small close-knit Content team within a larger Studio team work extensively in AEM and other tools to produce and manage content experiences for company website the My WM mobile app and related properties.
- Our big-picture objective is to support the acquisition of new customers and satisfaction of existing customers across the entirety of company services while contributing to the elevation of company brand identity as a sustainability leader.
