Software Engineer
Overview
The Denali NPI will deliver HCs next generation DXA system providing a scalable HW/SW platform that spans across the Performance, Premium, and Value market segments with improved clinical outcomes. We are looking for a Software Engineer contractor to support this program from our Madison, WI location as part of a global cross-functional team.
Scope
* Work with LSD and SW Engineering teams at HC Madison, WI and Bangalore India sites to develop and test software for Denali NPI program.
* Define, develop, and evolve software engineering solutions in a fast paced lean/agile environment
* Design robust software system architectures that align with multi-generational software framework and allows for future product expansion
* Work closely with systems, application, marketing, service, clinical teams and customers to refine requirements and system design
* Interact with global teams across Healthcare to maximize synergies across common software platform components
* Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all phases of software development
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
* Demonstrated experience in C++ and object orientated design methodologies in a Windows environment
* Experience with Python, Visual Studio, Gitlab
* Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Medical device design and development experience desired
