Talascend is currently seeking an Engineering Aide for a contract opportunity located in Archbald, PA.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.
- Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
- Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).
- May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
- Prepare test and evaluation reports.
- Submit final acceptance reports to program management for approval and delivery.
- Update JIRA with status provided by engineering staff and ensure proper status of all contract items.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma (no Bachelors Degree required).
- Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledge of JIRA software.
- Be able to effectively communicate with Customer, Program team and other functional departments.
- Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- This position requires that you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
