This week’s highlight is a specialty of Talascend as well of Michigan, the Automotive Industry. The Auto Industry has not seen a low like this in quite a while. Nevertheless, there are plans in place to bounce back, and Talascend is ready and equipped to assist.

For a little more insight on Automotive, we asked some questions to our expert Delivery Manager, Nicole Kazimierczuk.

What are your main responsibilities at Talascend?

A Delivery Manager role is unique at Talascend, in that it’s somewhat of a hybrid role. I have responsibilities to manage and mentor a team of recruiters, be the main point of contact between various MSP clients, as well as handle our employee relations for employees working onsite within my book of business.

How have you worked in/experienced the auto industry?

I’ve been with Talascend for 8 years and started out recruiting on the GM team. Over these past 8 years, the automotive industry has changed significantly, including several layoffs as well as COVID precautions. One thing I have learned, is that it will always bounce back with time.

What have you grown to learn about working in the auto industry?

I enjoy the constant movement and changes within the industry. Over the years, I’ve seen automotive companies shift from gas to diesel to electrification, as well as develop and advance numerous infotainment products within the vehicles.

What changes have you seen take place over the recent years and months?

What I have noticed is how resilient the automotive industry is, and how they’re taking care of their employees’ safety. It’s always good to see.
