Talascend’s Michigan, New Jersey and Maryland Recruiting Offices Donate Back-to-School Essentials to Local Children

August 26, 2014 - Talascend Worldwide Technical Resources recently teamed up in an effort to help local children in the states of Michigan, New Jersey and Maryland. Together, the staff provided countless children with the back-to-school essentials needed for their 2014/15 school year.
Troy, Michigan Headquarters Partnership
Talascend’s global headquarter office, located in Troy, Michigan, partnered with the “Michigan Friends of Education - Operation: Kid Equip” to help in their mission of removing the many obstacles that stand in children's way as they start their school year. Michigan Friends of Education is a non-profit who envisions a community where every child feels valued and has the tools and support needed to become a literate, self-supporting adult, capable of sharing his or her unique gifts with the world. The Talascend Troy team gathered everything from backpacks and supplies to hygiene items and monetary donations.
Frederick, Maryland Office Support
Talascend’s Frederick, Maryland office selected the United Way, Stuff the Bus for the children in the Frederick County school district. Employees within the Talascend recruiting office assisted in the United Way’s goal of collecting over 20,000 school supplies to help Frederick children get the start needed as they enter the new school year.
Mount Laurel, New Jersey Campaign
Talascend’s New Jersey office chose to continue their support for Mount Laurel’s Department of Children and Families. This is the fourth annual fundraising campaign Talascend has initiated for this worthy organization and the recruiting professionals look forward to many years ahead in helping provide a better future for the State of New Jersey’s children, youth, families and communities. The Talascend team purchased, filled and distributed backpacks to the many children within the community.
