Providing Holiday Cheer to 5 Military Families
Talascend, a nationwide, veteran-owned staffing organization, takes great pride in driving impactful community initiatives during the holiday season. This year, our team continued its proudest outreach tradition with absolute dedication.
The annual holiday giving mission, “Talascend Cares,” stands as a tenured ten-year tradition. Each year, our entire corporate network aligns to support a designated family, charity, or non-profit organization, pulling out all the stops to make an immediate, operational impact on communities in need.
Partnering with Soldiers' Angels
This season, Talascend partnered directly with “Soldiers’ Angels,” a premier national 501(c)3 charity dedicated to providing aid, comfort, and resources to military service members, veterans, and their families. Through their structured Holiday Adopt-A-Family Program, businesses are matched with qualified military families who could benefit from additional workforce and community support during the holidays.
The core mandate of this initiative is to supply direct children's gifts alongside dedicated grocery support, ensuring families can gather for a proper holiday dinner. Beyond the physical provisions, the objective is to convey a deep sense of national gratitude for the collective sacrifices made by military personnel and their loved ones.
Executing a Nationwide Adoption Strategy
Recognizing that military families navigate unique structural adjustments and economic uncertainties, Talascend formalized a campaign to adopt five separate military families positioned across our regional corridors. Driven by the big hearts of our internal workforce, our organization raised more than $2,700.00, which was distributed equitably to purchase essential holiday provisions, clothing, and customized gifts for each household.
Veterans and active-duty personnel constitute a foundational segment of Talascend’s workforce demographics and technical talent pipelines. Assisting the families of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting our country represents only a fraction of our organizational gratitude for America's military heroes.
