Talascend Receives the Seven Seals Award for U.S. Veteran Workforce Development
Recognized by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) for profound impacts made in advocating and expanding structural employment opportunities for our nation’s heroes.
Troy, Mich. - Fostering a corporate culture that inherently supports, values, and advances the civilian employment of National Guard and Reserve military members.
Talascend proudly received formal recognition from the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) for the strategic impacts made in expanding structural employment pathways to those who selflessly served within a military capacity.
ESGR has served our country for more than 45 years, ensuring that American employers actively welcome and value the unique technical skillsets and leadership backgrounds brought home by transitioning service members.
Talascend has sustained a dedicated partnership with ESGR for the past two years, driving focused hiring initiatives to support the broader military community. Following a formal Statement of Support signing ceremony, Talascend President Jason Dawson was presented with the highly prestigious Seven Seals Award, signed directly by ESGR National Chair Craig McKinley.
The Seven Seals Award recognizes Mr. Dawson’s meritorious leadership and organizational initiative in championing the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve. ESGR representatives Angela Shelby and Fred Kaiser joined the executive team at Talascend's corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan, to present the distinction.
"We are humbled and appreciative to have received this award on behalf of the ESGR. It’s partners like you that provide companies like Talascend the resources and opportunities to grow as a Veteran-Owned and operated employer. We look forward to a successful future with ESGR as a valued business partner."
- Jason Dawson, Talascend President
Along with Talascend’s steadfast commitment to the ESGR, the firm maintains a certified corporate status as a Veteran-Friendly Employer through the Michigan Veteran Affairs Agency (MVAA), and is recognized as a "We Hire Vets" employer through the joint efforts of the Texas Workforce Commission and the Texas Veterans Commission.
Talascend’s efforts in backing the military ecosystem go far deeper than corporate accolades. Operating at the front lines of engineering recruitment and specialized technical staffing services, our teams have the unique structural leverage to secure meaningful careers for returning personnel. Enabling our Veteran community to claim the stable, rewarding employment tracks they deserve is the ultimate corporate goal.
