What are your main responsibilities at Talascend?
The Delivery Manager role at Talascend is a highly cross-functional hybrid position. My responsibilities span managing and mentoring a dedicated team of recruiters, serving as the primary strategic point of contact for our key Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners, and managing employee relations directly for the embedded technical workforce working onsite within my portfolio.
How have you worked in and experienced the auto industry?
I’ve been with Talascend for eight years, getting my start directly recruiting embedded personnel on our General Motors team. Over nearly a decade, the automotive sector has evolved rapidly through massive structural realignments and strict operational safety changes. If there is one overarching takeaway from my tenure, it is that this industry inherently possesses the resilience to bounce back stronger every single time.
What have you grown to learn about working in the auto industry?
I love the constant movement, adaptation, and technical acceleration. Over the years, I have seen major automotive OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers shift system architecture from traditional internal combustion to advanced electrification, alongside the rapid integration of sophisticated vehicle infotainment, telemetry, and autonomous software products.
What changes have you seen take place over the recent years and months?
The absolute standout factor is how remarkably robust the automotive production network is. Even during complex global challenges, organizations have pivoted cleanly to prioritize employee health, workspace engineering, and workforce stability. It is an inspiring standard of operational excellence to witness firsthand.
