A Talascend client in Elkhart, IN, has a need for a Vehicle Integration Engineer to support the integration of multiple EV chassis into the Client's Connected Vehicle Platform (CVP). The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive electrical systems, component integration, component re-flashing (FOTA), and vehicle communication protocols. This role helps ensure the reliable and efficient integration of EV chassis components, such as batteries, inverters, and motors, into the CVP.
This is a project-based role with the potential for future opportunities as the project evolves. For out-of-town candidates, we are open to considering per diem or expense support for securing secondary housing during the project duration.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vehicle integration, system engineering, or a related role within the automotive or similar industry.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems (chassis, electrical, HVAC, infotainment, networking).
- Sound experience with automotive networking and different communication protocols, especially CAN (J1939, RV-C).
- Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and data analysis tools, including but not limited to Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, PCAN, IXXAT/HMS toolchains.
- Knowledge of electric and high-voltage platform vehicles.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced, innovative work environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management and negotiation skills, and the ability to analyze complex issues to develop relevant and realistic plans and recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and socialize approaches, generate support and buy-in, align key partners, and work closely with core team members in engineering, development, design, and project management roles.
