Talascend is currently seeking a Electronic Test Equipment Technician for a contract opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ.
Overview:
In this role, you will collaborate with Technicians and Engineers to build, fabricate, and repair complex Test Equipment and red-label avionics products. Work ranges from fine-pitch circuit card repair to full ATE (Automated Test Equipment) rack assembly.

In this role, you will collaborate with Technicians and Engineers to build, fabricate, and repair complex Test Equipment and red-label avionics products. Work ranges from fine-pitch circuit card repair to full ATE (Automated Test Equipment) rack assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, modify, and repair:
- Cable Harnesses
- Circuit Cards (including micro-electronics)
- Break-out Boxes / Test Adapters
- Power Controllers
- EMI Fixtures
- Full Test Stations and Subassemblies
- Support Engineering and ISC customers with troubleshooting, build recommendations, and hands-on fabrication.
- Handle repairs from connector pin replacement to complex ATE systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and prints.
- Proficient with soldering, crimping, cable prep, meters, testers, and mechanical tools.
- Experience with red-label products and test equipment assembly.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and comfort working alongside engineering teams.
- Familiarity with IPC standards (IPC certification preferred).
- Experience with SAP and general computer proficiency.
