Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize cost savings.
- Manage purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timeliness and quality.
- Conduct market research to inform sourcing strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define purchasing requirements.
- Maintain accurate purchasing documentation and records.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies efficiently.
- Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Understanding of supply chain and procurement practices.
- Familiarity with vendor evaluation and sourcing strategies.
- Industry experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or a related field.
- Budget management and cost analysis expertise.
- Experience with suppliers like Honeywell or similar organizations.
- Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
