Sr Procurement Specialist
Join Corporate Indirect Procurement team as a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist within the Operating Supplies Category Strategy Team (CST). This global role is pivotal in shaping and executing category strategies for Fleet Management, driving cost optimization, supplier performance, and strategic alignment across all Strategic Business Groups (SBGs).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and execution of global Fleet Management category strategies, focusing on total cost of ownership, supplier consolidation, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with Category Management and Central Program Management teams to support fleet mapping, leasing, and operational transitions
• Partner with Buying Operations and cross-functional stakeholders across all SBGs to ensure alignment and successful implementation of sourcing strategies
• Drive supplier rationalization by consolidating fragmented global spend and reducing reliance on non-strategic vendors
• Execute the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) through measurable improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements that align with global sourcing strategies and deliver maximum value to Honeywell
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of strategic sourcing experience, including 1-2 years in indirect procurement within a multinational environment
• Proven expertise in procurement best practices such as category management, should-cost modeling, RFX processes, reverse auctions, and contract negotiation
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of setting and executing successful negotiation strategies
• Bachelors degree (BS/BA) required
Preferred:
• Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA)
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, PMP, CIPS)
• Experience with SAP, e-sourcing platforms, and project management tools
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies
• Strong business and financial acumen
• A proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement
