Talascend is currently seeking a Sr Demand & Asset Planner for a contract opportunity in Tempe, AZ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your assigned product cells
  • Ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize labor and machine resources
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity constraints, and material availability issues to maintain executable production plan complaint with DPAS requirements
  • Ensure accurate planning parameters and material master data for parts assigned
  • Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present associated risks, and discuss mitigation plans with functional and business leadership.
  • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction and ensure working capital remains within business goals

YOU MUST HAVE
  • 7+ years of Supply Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, Materials Management of other Operations Planning related functional area.
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, defense and aerospace preferred
  • 5+ years planning experience in SAP ERP system
  • Due to export restrictions this position requires United States Citizenship or United States Lawful Permanent Resident status.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Experience in Planning, Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing
  • Experience in Kinaxis-RapidResponse (or Maestro) highly
  • APICS or CPIM Certification.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead and solve complex organizational problems.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in leading/driving change and mentor for new leaders or peers.
  • Expertise across professional disciplines within the material management function.
  • Mentor new leaders or peers.
