Automation Test Engineer
SUMMARY:
The main function of the Automation Test Engineer is to develop automation scripts, research, test the automation tool design, and verify wireless mobile operation and features. This individual has the ability to read and interpret technical languages including but not limited to Python, Javascript, C++, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop automation scripts/tools using open-source tools to improve validation of Wireless Mobile operation and verification process.
- Identify opportunities to improve the manual field test scope, such as automation of test data generation, test execution, script and framework development of reporting tools using Python, Javascript, C++.
- Responsible for the verification and validation of latest test devices and software applications by creating, extending, and executing automated test plans.
- Research in experimental test programs and frameworks to evaluate functionality, design requirements and customer expectations.
- Assist in analyzing test data and reports to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications.
- Communicate effectively with stake holders and developers in US and located around the globe.
- Assist seniors in preparation of progress reports, performing work audit and device inventory tracking.
- Individual contributor role will contribute to the product development team.
- Availability to work overtime during weekdays, weekends and travel whenever required (about 10%).

- Experience in testing process innovation with automation
- Python Scripting and other scripting languages
- Designs, develops, and implements the RPA software
REQUIREMENTS:
- US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- 2-4 years of direct experience in automation development for software quality assurance and testing
- 2+ years of experience writing and running test scripts
- Bilingual, Korean / English in writing, reading, and speaking
- 2+ years of strong experience in Python Scripting for Test Automation
- RPA modeling and developing robotic automations
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and/or C++
- Mobile Device Development Lifecycle
- Knowledge in Android Smartphone, Tablet devices
- Experience in project tracking systems like JIRA, Test Central etc.
- Proficient in MS Office ( MS Excel, Word, MS PowerPoint)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and great team player
- Team player, detail oriented and ability to work effectively with other team members
- Work under minimum supervision and tight business deadlines
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS for designing web-based automation dashboards or reports is preferred
