Part-time Payroll & Administrative Support Specialist
A Talascend client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll & Administrative Support Specialist to assist with weekly payroll processing and provide general administrative support in Tonawanda, New York. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage sensitive data accurately and confidentially.
Work Schedule (20 hours/week)

Work 8 hours on Monday (or Tuesday if Monday is a holiday)

Work 6 hours on Wednesday and Thursday

Friday and Tuesday are days off, except Tuesday may be worked if Monday is a holiday
Key Responsibilities:

Process weekly payroll for approximately 70 employees using the ADP payroll system

Accurately enter timesheet data and apply complex pay rules under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

Learn and apply hourly pay rules to ensure compliance and accuracy

Perform administrative duties including recordkeeping, document handling, and project support

Maintain documentation related to EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) activities, including incident tracking and training records

Coordinate and schedule routine occupational medical services for employees

Gather and compile EHS data for internal reporting

Assist with organizing employee training sessions and generate weekly EHS reports
Qualifications:

Prior experience with ADP payroll systems preferred

Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) is a plus but not required

Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
