Loading and Unloading Specialist
Talascend is currently seeking a Loading and Unloading Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Havre de Grace, Maryland.
Overview
The role involves safely and accurately performing duties necessary for loading and unloading trucks and railcars, along with rail shifting of rail cars. It includes completing invoice documentation and scheduling trucks and rail cars while working closely with other departments to maintain on-time ship dates.
Responsibilities
- Safely and accurately performs duties necessary for loading and unloading trucks and railcars
- Accurately completes invoice documentation
- Ability to schedule trucks and rail cars
- Works closely with other departments to maintain on-time ship dates
- Work with various site functional groups to identify and implement changes for improved operating efficiencies and cost savings
- Support plant and organizational ESH&Q initiatives and plans
- Follow all procedures and work instructions that apply to the job tasks
