Talascend is currently seeking a Mobile Logistics Financial Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Coppell, Texas.

Overview

The logistics financial manager is responsible for financial planning, analysis and projection; forecast future revenues and expenditures to establish cost structures and budget for projects. This position is a key role in the critical analysis of costs associated with the overall mobile logistics operations.

Responsibilities

  • Data analysis
  • Develop financial models that help with decision-making
  • Produce financial reports related to expenses, budgets, account payables, cost savings, etc.
  • Develop long-term business plans based on these reports
  • Review monitoring, and manage budgets
  • Create and submit monthly forecast and variance analysis
  • Reallocation of costs to appropriate cost centers
  • Manage month end closing process
  • Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
  • Identify opportunities for performance improvement
  • Work closely with business operations leaders, finance, accounting, HQ, and other logistics members to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives
  • Understand and calculate the risks involved in the financial activities
  • Responsible for driving continuous process improvements as related to financial management and reporting
  • Develop and maintain executive decks of financial performance
  • Ad-Hoc Projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related (essential)
  • Minimum 7 years in financial planning & analysis, accounting, corporate finance, or other related fields

Requirements

  • Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Profound interest in the growth, efficiency, and profitability of the company
  • Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation and presentation skills with an ability to lead meetings and prepare presentations with internal & external stakeholders
  • High proficiency in MS Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Experience in a logistics supply chain (operations) environment preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Korean Bi-Lingual preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and create original analysis
  • Strong interpersonal and consensus building skills
  • Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Experience with development, implementing and monitoring of performance metrics
  • Excellent communications skills (written, verbal)
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Must have strong verbal and written communications skills; ability to communicate and present with confidence
  • Ability to independently follow and execute work assignments
  • Must be able to work without supervision; self-starter
  • Strong math, communication, and organizational skills

Shift

On site 4 days/1 day remote - subject to change
