Project Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Project Manager for a remote, contract opportunity with our client.
Overview
The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a product installation network to scale deployment of products, ensuring seamless delivery from initial customer engagement through final operations approvals while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, support, operation and optimization for the network of certified installation providers.
- Track and develop metrics to manage projects, project costs and timelines, identify operational risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, contractors, and third-party firms to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality equipment installations.
- Define and enforce service-level agreements (SLAs), conduct regular performance reviews, implement corrective actions and advise on process improvements as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for installers throughout the installation process.
- Assist in the creation of training and installation resources for products.
- Ensure installations comply with local codes, utility requirements, and safety standards.
- Assemble and maintain a documentation repository for permits, inspections, interconnection, incentives and regulatory compliance.
- Assist with other responsibilities as necessary (Surveys, Data, etc.)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field
- 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in residential construction, electrical installations, residential solar, storage or EV infrastructure
Requirements
- PMP or equivalent certification; licensed electrician; comfort with reading and critiquing site plan sets, permitting and utility application procedures preferred.
- Track record of proactive operational excellence, experience developing, tracking and managing operations for trade-based, electrical or equivalent, service networks and or comparable experience.
- Excellent communication, time-management, and stakeholder management abilities.
- A collaborative and passionate self-starter, critical thinking, problem solving.
- Proficient utilizing project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, etc.).
- 10% travel to support required onsite project activities and supplier meetings – U.S. domestic.
Shift
Core hours, flex time to support projects across U.S. time zones. 9:00am-5:00pm (flexible). Remote position, open to anyone in U.S.
