Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking an Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Overview
The role involves performing inventory management, electrical testing, reviewing drawings and prints, ordering electrical parts, and creating bills of material. The engineer will design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for manufacturing or power generation.
Responsibilities
- Perform inventory management
- Conduct electrical testing to a procedure
- Review drawings and prints
- Order electrical parts via web searches
- Create bills of material
- Design, test, install, and maintain large-scale electronic equipment or machinery
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area
Requirements
- Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Ability to use Microsoft products (Word, Excel, One Note, PPT, etc.)
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Works under immediate supervision
- Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager
