ASE Certified Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an ASE Certified Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Clawson, Michigan.
Overview
This position supports the validation of service procedures and is responsible for developing labor times from timing steps to publishing in service information.
Responsibilities
- Involves the review of potential procedures that could be studied virtually and selecting which studies to test first.
- Work cross functionally to determine what tools are available to build accurate virtual time studies.
- Work with all regions to share best practices and implement learnings/tools.
- Build studies with data and tools available.
- Cross check virtual time vs study time.
- Review/classify procedures.
- Support activities related to work planning.
- Support determining what vehicles need to be on order to support physical validation and timing.
- Support program coordinators in planning out what needs to be studied on which vehicles and timing.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of automotive technician experience preferred
- Preferred: 4-year degree
Requirements
- Need ASE Certification
Preferred Requirements
- CAD experience
- AI experience or knowledge
Shift
M-F 6am-3pm with flexibility. Candidates are required to be in office TUES, WED and THURS. MON and FRI are hybrid after training.
