Talascend is currently seeking an IT Management Finance Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. MUST be bilingual in Korean and English.

Overview

This role plays a crucial part in managing overall IT service costs, ensuring financial accuracy, and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive reporting and data management. This position requires a blend of financial acumen and strong interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with IT service vendors, internal teams, and management.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain IT services master file in collaboration with the vendor and support overall company-wide budgeting and execution status to the management
  • Validate IT vendor invoices against signed contracts and budget approvals
  • Process monthly incoming invoices through an internal finance portal
  • Prepare total monthly IT expense status and Year-to-Date (YTD) status reports
  • Monitor expenses/forecast trends and support reporting to management
  • Coordinate IT service contract signing process between various contract owners and the vendor
  • Facilitate the contract signing process among stakeholders and the service provider vendor after validating requirements
  • Respond to expense inquiries, including expense status, invoice and contract status, and IT General Ledger (GL) matters
  • Support the team in various areas on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance
  • 5 years financial and/or accounting experience

Requirements

  • MUST be bilingual in Korean and English, able to read, write, and speak both languages. 
  • High proficiency in invoice processing and data management in Excel
  • Strong understanding of IT service management and finance processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to liaise between teams and vendors
  • Ability to handle ad hoc requests and provide timely support

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in financial reporting and expense management
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and data management tools
  • Knowledge of IT General Ledger (GL) processes
  • Advanced degree in a financial discipline
