Pricing Operations Analyst
Talascend is currently seeking a Pricing Operations Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
This position will require the ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, manage complex process improvement efforts, perform risk analysis and clearly communicate value proposition. You will apply project management principles and industry best practices in achieving operational excellence, process automation, tool deployment, data analytics and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Identifying sources of relevant data within business systems, extracting, standardizing, and analyzing to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, then clearly communicating to leadership.
- Driving top line and bottom-line growth through the preparation of sound business and financial analysis that is properly balanced between profitability and customer value.
- Translates plans into actions and leads self and others at all levels of the organization to execute on key deliverables to meet commitment, schedule desired results.
- Lead global cross-functional teams to identify, develop, scope, model, and resource strategic business transformation projects.
- Engages key stakeholders in understanding priorities and decisions and effectively addressing business concerns to an appropriate outcome.
- Effectively communicates complex info succinctly; adapts content and level of detail appropriate for targeted audience.
- Supporting pricing growth initiatives through the implementation of continuous improvements.
- Contributing to the development of the business case, competitive assessment, risk mitigation and negotiation strategy in support of customer business proposals.
- Preparing compliant proposals for prime contractors and government agencies and preparing proposals for non-government customers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a business related discipline.
- 2.5 years direct government/defense experience or 5+ years of directly related experience in a pricing, finance, accounting, supply-chain or business analysis role.
Requirements
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including presentation skills, with the ability to quickly and positively influence others.
- Have ability to learn and desire to grow professionally.
- Must be a US Citizen only. No dual citizenship.
- Proficient working with MS Office Tools, Excel, and/or SAP.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, or Supply Chain Certification, Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience in cost accounting, pricing or marketing preferred with previous experience in a government/defense environment.
- Experience in coordinating work tasks within a matrix environment and acting as liaison between internal and external customers.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively; anticipate problems and opportunities; develop & implement vision.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple activities and projects with a strong bias for action; results oriented and able to meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to integrate pricing tactics with broader product marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and improve processes.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- Intermediate capability with Power BI, Siebel databases, SAP, and Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Objects (BO).
- Travel may be required for interviews.
Shift
Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite Monday to Friday.
