Traveler Electrical Installer
Talascend is currently seeking a Traveler Electrical Installer for a contract opportunity with our client in Greer, South Carolina.
Overview
The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, modifying, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, circuits, and equipment in an industrial installation environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains electrical/electronic systems, circuits and equipment in an industrial installation environment.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor/manager.
- Punctual and dependable every day.
- Ability to install conduit to company and national standards.
- Use of proper tools for the job.
- Mount and wire electrical devices.
- Feed and pull wire.
- Follow instructions of immediate supervisor and work in a team environment.
- Comfortable working at heights typically not higher than 40FT.
- Adherence to all company and national safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of experience in the electrical installation field.
Requirements
- MEWP (scissor lift) certified. Please provide proof of certification.
- Lifting will exceed 30 lbs. and/or repetitions of this or lesser weights will be significant.
- Exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological or other physical risks are anticipated.
