Talascend is currently seeking a Welding Operator for a contract opportunity with our client in Houston, Texas.
Overview
The role involves ensuring welding operating tasks and activities are completed within the agreed time frame, focusing on performance, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding tools following standard specifications
- Control the welding operations
- Control the quality of the output in line with blueprints and specifications
- Detect problems and alert
- Understand and follow all safety requirements and procedures
Qualifications
- Secondary school / high school diploma with mechanical skills
- Up to one year of experience
- Minimum education requirements HS diploma or GED equivalent
