Talascend is currently seeking a Project Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.

Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to support a US Army program. You will help ensure successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects by monitoring progress and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project team members.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 2+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.

Shift

Hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
