Talascend is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
The engineer will be responsible for designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications and operating systems. Additionally, they will coordinate work teams and provide technical support to project team members. The role requires extensive experience in the field and involves working on complex projects with a high degree of creativity and latitude.
Responsibilities
- Design, modify, develop, write, and implement software programming applications and operating systems
- Coordinate work teams to ensure successful project completion
- Provide technical support to project team members
- Perform a variety of tasks relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Consult on complex projects as a top level contributor or specialist
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in area of specialty
- At least 8+ years of experience in the field or a related area
- Experience with designing and developing software programming applications or operating systems
- Demonstrated expertise in the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks with a high level of judgment
