Material Handlers
A Talascend client in Speers, PA has an immediate need for Material Handlers for a 2 month project.
SUMMARY:
Assists in the inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, inventory audits and adjustments. Contact with Warehouse related functions in the service center
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in all warehouse duties to pick, pack and store products, use various material handling equipment to facilitate these tasks
- Loads and unloads trucks according to established safety and operating procedures
- Assists in the preparation of shipments by staging, counting, documenting, and packaging materials for safe transport
- Distributes received shipments by delivering materials to requestor. Process paperwork to record transactions
- Assist in physically locating materials
- Assists with SAP inventory record maintenance by weighing materials, measuring materials, and creating and attaching identifying equipment tags
- Assists in customer audits and cycle counts to support inventory control activities
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
- Knowledge/ use of tools, equipment and techniques
- Dependable transportation
- Willingness to work in outdoor and indoor environments
