Talascend is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Sr. Advanced Program/Project Engineer position located in Phoenix, AZ.

- Customer relationships
- Understand technology
- Estimation development and analysis
- Cost development
- Budget analysis
- Metric development/reporting
- Risk/OPP development and management
- Vendor interface
- Project Performance
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience in support of safety critical engine controller development
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
- Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status
WE VALUE:
- Technical leadership to a cross discipline, cross site team
- Experience working within system development processes for electronic controllers
- Working knowledge of requirement development tools and processes including DOORS and ClearCase/ClearQuest
- Advanced level knowledge of APU control systems and control components
- Create, support and enhance specific action plans
- Promote customer relationships
- Understand technology
- Some experience in engineering
- Experience in electronic assembly fabrication
- Program management skills
- Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events.
- Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
- Demonstrated Earned Value Management skills
