Talascend is currently seeking a National Retail Sales Analyst for a contract opportunity in Plano, TX
SUMMARY:
The National Retail Sales Analyst will provide sales and account management support for the NR Channel Sales team. They will report to the Sr. Director of Channel Sales and be responsible for supporting a $5Bn Mobile business. The candidate is responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales performance and identify (proactive and reactive) to drive the account success.

Team Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm CT, 4 days in office, 1 remote
SUMMARY:
The National Retail Sales Analyst will provide sales and account management support for the NR Channel Sales team. They will report to the Sr. Director of Channel Sales and be responsible for supporting a $5Bn Mobile business. The candidate is responsible for monitoring and analyzing sales performance and identify (proactive and reactive) to drive the account success.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with monitoring and analyzing promotions, product performance, store level performance, competitive analysis, et al to determine optimal portfolio and approach (proactive and retroactive) to drive account success
- Aide in the sell in and management promotional sales, product sell-in, and marketing support
- Compile and communicate on-site merchandising Proof of Performance, as needed
- Ensure company compliance of various policies governing new item set-up, PDP content, and creation of merchandising assets for onsite promotions
- Assist with investigation and response to account notifications and escalations
- Responsible for weekly reporting including but not limited to: Sell-out, Inventory gaps,
- Interface with multiple internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Finance and SCM and assist in increasing efficiencies and functionality in the sales process
- Maintain internal sales and account management documents (promotions roadmaps, promotions submission templates, promotions agreements, marketing planner, sales and insights reporting, etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3-5 years of relevant business experience
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, accountability and commitment to excellence
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multitask, problem solve and prioritize
- Ability to utilize technology in creating workplace and process efficiencies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent communication and relational skills
- Enjoy collaboration with the team but know when to take ownership of tasks
