Traveling Logistics Specialist
Overview
This is a contract assignment with the potential to extend. The role requires 100% travel and focuses on coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments. The ideal candidate will bring warehouse and inventory control experience along with strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials according to production schedules
- Review and distribute production, work, and shipment schedules
- Compile reports on inventory levels, costs, and performance indicators
- Work independently and manage multiple tasks and projects under tight deadlines
- Interact effectively with all levels of management, including executives
- Bachelor's degree completed
- 2–4 years of experience in logistics or a warehouse environment
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and handle language barriers
- Comfortable working without supervision and taking initiative
