Our client is currently seeking a Project Scheduler for a long-term contract opportunity in Akron, OH.

Overview
This position supports multiple project managers in the scheduling and oversight of electric utility projects. The role involves developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 and integrating data from various sources to ensure project accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain schedules in Oracle Primavera P6, managing 20 to 200 activities per project

  • Support 5–6 project managers across various phases of design and construction

  • Load and maintain resources within project schedules

  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables

  • Compare project schedules to financial data to ensure alignment

  • Communicate and interpret technical progress related to electric utility transmission lines, substations, and telecommunication projects

  • Integrate schedule data with other data sources using Excel formulas, pivot tables, and macros

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or business from an accredited program

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience

  • Experience with Primavera P6 (2–5 years), MS Office Suite, Power BI

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to travel

  • Valid driver’s license

  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
