Software Engineer – ADAS Performance Tools
Talascend is currently seeking an experienced Software Engineer – ADAS Performance Tools for a contract career opportunity with our client in Southfield, MI.
Candidates must be local and willing to work on-site, no relocation support available. Candidates must also be eligible to work for any employer without sponsorship. W-2 only.
Overview
Our client is looking for a skilled software engineer to develop tools that accelerate ADAS feature delivery and improve system reliability through performance monitoring and failure analysis.
Responsibilities

Build tools that support faster delivery of ADAS features to customers

Develop systems to characterize feature failures, monitor performance, and support triage and root cause analysis
Requirements

BS, MS, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field

4+ years of software development experience in testing for embedded software or automotive environments

Proficiency in Python or C/C++

Experience with cloud development tools such as Kibana, AWS, Azure, or OCI

Knowledge of vector databases

Familiarity with generative AI models and fine-tuning (preferred)

Understanding of graph-based machine learning algorithms (nice to have)
