Talascend is currently seeking a Facilities Technician for a contract opportunity located in West Valley City, UT.
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to support the general maintenance and upkeep of our building and facilities. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks across multiple building systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor facilities to ensure they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained
  • Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems and controls, and mechanical systems
  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on carpentry and plumbing systems
  • Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed
  • Move office furniture, equipment, and materials as requested
  • Coordinate with and manage vendors as needed
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of machines, tools, and general maintenance practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0–2 years of relevant maintenance or facilities support experience
