Talascend is seeking candidates for a Mobile Device Network Testing role with one of the world’s largest technology companies at their facility in Plano, TX. Must be willing to work on-site. New graduate/entry-level candidates may be considered.
Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to support quality assurance activities for LTE, 4G & 5G technologies. The role involves testing, debugging, and validating UE functionality in live networks, with a focus on RAN, air interface protocols, and IMS features. Must be bilingual in Korean and English (speaking only).

Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented QA Tester to support quality assurance activities for LTE, 4G & 5G technologies. The role involves testing, debugging, and validating UE functionality in live networks, with a focus on RAN, air interface protocols, and IMS features. Must be bilingual in Korean and English (speaking only).
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system and test requirements
- Support product and feature performance analysis and software evaluation
- Troubleshoot issues from lab, field, and production environments
- Evaluate and improve UE performance by analyzing KPIs and providing optimization input
- Develop and execute test plans to meet project deadlines
- Identify and document test-related risks
- Conduct 4G/5G protocol field testing using mobile devices
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
- 1-3 years of experience in QA or wireless testing
- Strong knowledge of 4G and 5G air interface, call processing, and RAN architecture
- Familiarity with UE log tools such as QXDM, QCAT, Wireshark; ShannonDM a plus
- Experience analyzing IMS features like VoLTE, VoWiFi, ViLTE, conferencing, SMS/MMS/RCS
- Understanding of SIM OTA activation and UE KPI analysis
- Knowledge of 5G NSA and SA
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills
