Talascend is currently seeking a Controls Project Manager for an opportunity located in Auburn Hills, MI.
The Controls Manager will support global planning, execution, and program coordination for Controls & Software platform solutions across Engines, Transmissions, Hybrids, Batteries, Charging Systems, and eMotor ECUs.

The Controls Manager will support global planning, execution, and program coordination for Controls & Software platform solutions across Engines, Transmissions, Hybrids, Batteries, Charging Systems, and eMotor ECUs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide feasibility and cost assessments for Controls & Software integration into vehicle programs
- Act as the primary interface between Controls Systems (Controllers & SW) and the Propulsion Systems community
- Coordinate Controls feature development and define feature rollout plans aligned with program milestones
- Lead change management, quality assessment, and risk mitigation efforts
- Collaborate closely with internal and cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience (5 years automotive required)
- Background in Controls/SW development, testing, or calibration a plus
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, accountable, and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team
- Self-starter with confidence and the ability to drive initiatives forward
