Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Engineering Program Manager for a contract opportunity in Phoenix, AZ.
SUMMARY:
The Senior Engineering Program Manager will lead and support capital project planning, execution, and site improvement initiatives. This role is critical in managing cross-functional priorities, integrating new product lines, and ensuring alignment with site leadership directives.

SUMMARY:
The Senior Engineering Program Manager will lead and support capital project planning, execution, and site improvement initiatives. This role is critical in managing cross-functional priorities, integrating new product lines, and ensuring alignment with site leadership directives.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of capital projects and site improvements
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, HFC, and Operations to prioritize capital equipment needs
- Support product integration and facility moves in preparation for new contracts
- Develop detailed project scopes, timelines, and resource plans
- Conduct equipment pricing and vendor sourcing based on engineering and operational requirements
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors for timely, cost-effective project delivery
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
- Prepare and present project updates, cost analyses, and performance reports to leadership
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to long-term strategic planning
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field (required)
- 3+ years of experience in project management within industrial, manufacturing, or engineering environments
- Strong understanding of capital project planning and execution
- Experience with equipment specification, procurement, and vendor negotiation
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Financial acumen for budgeting and cost control
