Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (Learning and Development) for a contract opportunity in Charlotte, NC.
SUMMARY:
Seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a portfolio of enterprise learning and development initiatives. This role is pivotal in driving training program design, governance framework implementation, and the rollout of the Oracle Learning platform. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of project management expertise, instructional design insight, and data-driven decision-making to enhance organizational learning outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and manage a portfolio of enterprise learning-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Design and conduct comprehensive training programs, including orientation and career development initiatives.
• Oversee the curation, migration, and enhancement of existing learning assets and programs.
• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide learning administration governance framework.
• Coordinate the successful rollout and adoption of the Oracle Learning platform across the organization.
• Monitor and report on training effectiveness, leveraging feedback and performance data to drive continuous improvement.
• Utilize tools such as Power BI and Advanced Excel for data extraction, aggregation, and reporting to inform project strategies.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring clarity of objectives, progress, and outcomes.
• Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and consensus.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in learning and development, project management, or a related area.
• Hands-on curation and learning administration experience with Oracle Learning is required.
• Proven track record of managing complex enterprise learning projects.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and training effectiveness evaluation.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools such as Power BI and Advanced Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative problem-solver with a high degree of initiative and judgement. Consensus building with diverse functions and groups are essential.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Deep knowledge of enterprise learning platforms and governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with adult learning theories and best practices in corporate training.
