Talascend is seeking an experienced Electronic Test Equipment Technician for a contract opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Technicians and Engineering teams to build, fabricate, modify, and repair test equipment and red-label avionics products. This role supports both Engineering and Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) customers and involves working on a wide range of tasks—from repairing a single connector pin to assembling complex Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
Responsibilities:Support electronic troubleshooting and repair
Collaborate with engineering to suggest design improvements and resolve issues

Responsibilities:
- Assembly, modification, and repair of:
- Cable harnesses
- Circuit card assemblies (including micro-electronics)
- Break-out boxes and test adapters
- Power controllers
- Full-up test stations and racks
- EMI fixtures
- Micro-electronics components
- Minimum 7 years of technician experience
- Proficient in reading electrical and mechanical schematics and prints
- Skilled in using crimping tools, soldering irons, cutters/strippers, voltmeters, continuity testers, label makers, and mechanical tools
- Hands-on experience in test equipment fabrication and red-label product handling
- IPC familiarity or certification preferred
- Familiar with SAP and general computer systems
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
