Talascend is currently seeking a E-Discovery Project Manager (REMOTE) for a contract opportunity with our client in Miami, Florida.

Overview

The E-Discovery Project Manager will join the highly-regarded team, responsible for assisting in organizing and maintaining electronically stored information (ESI) and other litigation documents. The role ensures best practices and compliance with document preservation requirements in all litigation practice group engagements and supports the global litigation team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all eDiscovery database-related functions.
  • Manage Lemon Law Cases.
  • Administer and manage Reveal Software platform and support attorneys' requests on conducting end-to-end EDRM (eDiscovery Reference Model) lifecycle.
  • Work closely with IT to maintain databases and update software as required.
  • Create databases and respond to the needs of department management, legal teams, or clients.
  • Design databases and establish workflows to support efficient document reviews.
  • Manage the implementation of database systems, external web-based document repositories, and case management tools.
  • Carry out day-to-day database maintenance, reporting, and related document and electronic evidence collection administration.
  • Ensure the timely flow and online availability of document and electronic evidence collections.
  • Manipulate data load files between litigation review platforms to assure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Provide consultation concerning ESI collections, processing, review, and production.
  • Organize and maintain documents and evidence.
  • Work with attorneys, staff, clients, co-counsel, and independent consultants to document evidentiary materials.
  • Organize and index case documents and develop document retrieval systems.
  • Utilize computer-assisted litigation support systems, including electronic databases and the internet.
  • Assist with the collection of documents in both hard copy and electronic form.
  • Assist and coordinate document production and understand key concepts of electronic discovery and EDRM model.
  • Manage collection and technical processing, culling, review, and hosting of electronic data as well as hard copy or opposing productions.
  • Coordinate the loading of data obtained from vendors into firm-related databases.
  • Retrieve and manipulate data within SQL or MS Access.
  • Create reports to track electronic discovery processing and production.
  • Perform quality and technical control of deliveries from vendors.
  • Provide product training on all litigation support tools.
  • Maintain current knowledge of available E-Discovery and litigation support systems.
  • Provide reporting to aid in workflow.
  • Provide support to case teams on varied levels.
  • Train and advise legal teams on the application and efficient use of technology.
  • Use expertise and hands-on experience with E-Discovery tools to provide technical solutions for managing data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Relevant experience in Litigation Technology Support role
  • Full lifecycle litigation experience required

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of forensics and electronic discovery
  • Must maintain client confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Good judgment in decision-making and creative problem-solving
  • Knowledge of Reveal and litigation software such as LegalMation and Reveal
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Shift

Remote, 40 hours per week
