Integrated Test Plan Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Integrated Test Plan Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Overview
The role involves defining and managing the Integrated Test Plan for vehicle programs to ensure design validation robustness compliant with the planned program timeline.
Responsibilities
- Ensure robustness and completeness of the propulsion vehicle level testing required to launch a successful program within defined program timing via communications with propulsion team members.
- Responsible for collecting a propulsion vehicle DVP&R from the engineering groups to support full-vehicle development testing and validation requirements for new product/program content.
- Support the Technical Manager with inputting Prototype Vehicle and Part requirements in the product investigation studies.
- Lead activities to optimize propulsion vehicle counts with support from propulsion management.
- Prioritize and develop propulsion vehicle build priority working in conjunction with the vehicle ITPL for all build phases based on the DVP&R and Test Plans.
- Analyze program scope and timing changes to mitigate the impact on propulsion bench testing/vehicle needs.
- Coordinate and manage propulsion vehicle usage to support program milestones.
- Process propulsion vehicle orders based on the DVP&R and Test Plans.
- Determine the quantity of dynamometer adaptation components required to support each program's team setup using existing tools.
- Identify part information for components and kick off ordering teams for prompt component delivery to cell setup.
- Process all bench (dynamometer) test requirements in the database.
- Process and track part orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering
- 3-5 years' experience in propulsion/powertrain systems or electrified systems or bench testing
Requirements
- Capable of analyzing and synthesizing complex data.
- Ability to work on multiple programs simultaneously, highly organized.
- Strong problem solving and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong communication skills working with cross functional teams and management.
Preferred Requirements
- Prior experience in program management, vehicle validation or testing.
- Proficiency in working with web-based systems.
