Inventory/Teardown Tech
Talascend is currently seeking an Inventory/Teardown Tech for a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan.
Overview
The role involves loading and unloading materials, inspecting parts for quality and accuracy, and maintaining a clean work area. The candidate must be motivated and eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
- Identify, inspect, and track incoming and outgoing parts for quality, quantity, and accuracy.
- Load materials and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Clean, organize, remove packing dunnage, and keep work area clean.
- Set up parts for engineering review on tables by commodity/system, put away parts review are completed.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of automotive experience, specifically disassembly/tear down
- Minimum 1 - 2 years inventory experience
Requirements
- Must have strong computer experience and tech savvy
- Must have own tools with rolling toolbox.
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Effective verbal communication skills, will be working with customers.
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
- Must have reliable attendance
- Valid drivers license
