Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity with our client in Beaverton, Oregon.
Overview
The role involves ensuring orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, staging finished products for final distribution, and maintaining inventory.
Shift
Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, staging finished product final distribution.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying and labeling.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Locates and packs materials for shipping.
- Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Receives deliveries and stores in corresponding area.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspection.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
- Maintains clean work areas.
- Maintains security of warehouse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Ability to operate stand-up reach truck as that will be the primary vehicle utilized.
