Inspection Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an Inspection Technician for a W-2 contract opportunity with our client in Buffalo, New York.
Overview
This role involves conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with contracts, client requirements, and standards. Responsibilities include validating certifications, using inspection tools, and analyzing data.
Shift
1st shift position - 4:00 am to 12:30 pm with some flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Conducts tests, inspections, audits and validations to ensure process compliance with contracts, client requirements and specifications for design, engineering, products, equipment, maintenance and services.
- Uses and cares for inspection tools, measuring and test equipment.
- Conducts sampling inspections in accordance with approved plans and procedures.
- Provides training and tutoring to other inspection personnel.
- Provides activity and status reports to management.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required plus 3 years of relevant experience.
- 2-3 years inspection role.
- U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
- Familiar with material and product certifications.
- Local travel in Buffalo area.
