Talascend is currently seeking a Program/Project Automation Integration Manager for a remote, contract opportunity with our client.

Overview

This role combines program and project coordination expertise with data automation engineering to drive process efficiency and strategic visibility across the full enterprise portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Automates manual project tracking and reporting processes to free up PM capacity
  • Connects Oracle P6, Jira, and Power BI for real-time project status, schedule alignment, and issue tracking
  • Develops scalable, auditable systems to improve data integrity and governance across platforms
  • Supports PMs in milestone-driven scheduling and dependency management
  • Creates supporting technical presentations, documents, and reports as needed
  • Customizes Jira as a centralized coordination tool for complex program execution
  • Creates executive dashboards and automated reports that reflect real-time project health
  • Collaborates with PMO and IT teams to scale automation solutions across the organization
  • Reduces operational costs by consolidating multiple roles (analyst, engineer, coordinator) into one high-impact function

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree and 6+ years of relevant experience is required
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred

Requirements

  • Proven experience integrating project management tools such as Oracle Primavera P6, Jira, and Power BI
  • Deep understanding of milestone-based project delivery methodologies
  • Able to support large-scale programs across scheduling, reporting, and dependency tracking
  • Familiar with enterprise PMO functions and governance structures
  • Works effectively across PMO, IT, and functional delivery teams
  • Skilled in translating business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Experienced in documenting and standardizing processes for enterprise adoption
  • Understands the ROI of automation in high-performance project environments
  • Strong automation skills with scripting, APIs, and data pipelines for cross-platform sync
  • Organized and detail oriented, with excellent writing and communication skills
  • The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trustworthiness and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork
  • Expertise in data governance and reporting systems development
  • Travel required: 0-5%
