Assembler
Talascend is currently seeking an Assembler for a contract opportunity with our client in Clearwater, Florida.
Overview
You will be accountable for assembling and testing various components and systems, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of products.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly of systems according to specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot products to identify and resolve any issues
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of delivery and assembly defects
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and product quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Associate's degree in a technical field
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing ethics
